• The memory retains your settings so when the power returns it starts right back to what you set up.

• Yes. There is a humidistat built it, so if the power goes off, and the humidity has risen, it senses it and turns itself off. There also is an audible alarm and blinking light when the bucket is full.

• I believe it does. I know we had a power failure recently while I was gone, and the unit was running when I got back.

• Frigidaire customer service claims it does not, and there is not reference to such a feature in the instruction booklet. Yet I have found specs on this model on other websites that says it does. I finally figured out to run my own test and unplug, wait a few minutes and then plug in again. It started up at the same settings. I did, though, return my unit because the humidistat on the unit was defective.

• No but it has a power off when tank is full ..and you have a timer feature also
