Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The dehumidifier can be run connected to a hose that drains into a floor drain (preferable) or has a tank which in high-humidity conditions, you'll find yourself emptying probably twice a day. I'd say if the house is closed up with the whole-house fan running (from your furnace) you'd probably be able to lower the humidity throughout the house, assuming you don't live in a mansion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this in my basement apartment. It seems to work best when all the doors are open to all rooms.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit will remove humidity from the entire space but most effective in the immediate room. The fan on the unit move air around very well so it will push dry air around and pull humid air in. As long as doors are open between rooms for the air to move to, the unit will work great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very quiet unit for a dehumidifier. Good solid bucket so should be easy to keep from making a mess. B U T it's still a dehumidifier!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A dehumidifier can be used anywhere in a house and will work well in removing moisture for several rooms or an entire floor IF you keep doors and windows closed. Open windows and doors defeats the purpose of trying to remove moisture from the air and wastes electricity, you'll never win.
