• My experience is that If the unit has a Humidistat the FAN WILL shutoff when the humidity setting is reached.

• The fan is operated by a digital push button. It has settings for low med high automatic and continuous. The manual states to run the fan continuously until the room feels comfortable, then you can change to a lower speed or put it on automatic with a percentage setting. The fan then switches on and off as needed

• You can select the desired humidity level, so when that is reached, the fan will shut off. If it gets too damp, the fan will resume running. You can also select an option to keep the fan running continuously.

• The fan will run as long as the humidity level is higher than the set point.
