“My 70 pint dehumidifier draws 5.6 amps when I tested it tag on machine says about 7.5 amps is this normal”

• 7.5 could be on startup of the compressor. Running amp are always lower.

• The tag probably says 7.5 amps because that's the maximum current draw when the compressor starts, but once it's running, it's drawing less current, the amount you measured.
