“Water began to drop from the drain cap after a day of use. I'm using in auto mode with a set temp. I opened the drain cap and a good amount of water flowed out. Is this normal or an anomaly?”

I called and if it is running 24/7 it needs to be dumped about every 5 days.

If for any reason the bottom tray gets full, you will possibly receive a “P1” message on your display; which will alert you to drain the tray. As the air conditioner pulls in moisture out of the air, this would happen. We hope this helps! -Thanks!-

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The air conditioner pulls a lot of water out of the air so you should drain the water at lease once each day. I placed my unit on a small stand about 10 inches above the floor to make it easy to drain the unit with a pan below the drain plug.
