Although, I do suggest you have it in a well-ventilated area... That way the temperature hold. As for being able to hold larger bottles, there are only a few slots on the top rack that can accommodate a "larger bottle". The standard sizes should fit just fine. If at all possible I'd visit my local Best Buy to try it out. - All The Best!
