• Depends on what you are referring to auto mode. It has a timer to either power the unit on or off. It also has auto mode for cooling. If you set it at 72 deg, it keeps the room at 72, but the fan stays running all the time when the unit is on

• Hi Indiangirl! In researching, we see that the model has a cool, eco and fan only mode. Although it does not have an auto mode, it does have an auto fan speed per the manual. -Thanks!-
