• I just got this air conditioner. I was able to get it installed and my old air conditioner removed and hauled away. There is a fee and it will be included in the purchase. I did this online and it was very easy. ADDED NOTE: The installer that came was wonderful; he explained everything, made sure the A/C was working, made sure my window was secure both structurally and against break-ins and made sure all gaps were insulated.
