“I have the older FFRE1533Q1 model which appears to be basically the same model as this current one. Is there any differences between the two models?”

Hi Planetary! Thank you for your inquiry. In researching, we were able to see some of the feature are different such as the air direction control. The model FFRE1533Q1 has a 8 way air control, where as the model FFRE1533U1 has 6. We hope this helps! -Thanks!-
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would have to see your old model. This unit need to be disassembled before its installed in a window. The unit has to be removed from the case so the supports can be installed. Hope it helps.
