All of our portable air conditioner units come with both a condenser and evaporator built in so you would not need to provide one separately. It does not need a drain as it uses evaporative technology, meaning all water created during the process is evaporated off. It does, however, need access to the outdoors - typically through a window - for proper functioning. The necessary hose and window kit are included with the unit.

It has a drian hose but the unit is designed to exit humid air (when in cool mode) to the outside through flexible duct line. When in humidifier mode, you should be sure to rout your drain to a position lower than the exit hole. The unit does not have a pump. So water will collect and turn off if the condensate (water) gets too high. Good luck! We use this system as a backup in a computer derver room and does a good job.
