If it’s coming out of top. Where do you think the air is coming from. Not from inside the microwave. It’s coming from the stove under the microwave. I see the stream of steam going towards the vents in bottom. And if it suppose to be coming out of inside the microwave I have no idea how microwave works. I assume fan was there to use over stove. I don’t feel that much fan on the table top models on back. Or side. If it’s connected outside than you would not feel the the wind from the fan up above. It would be venting to outside.
