“Should the door panel be reading the interior temperature, or is it static? If my static reading of 38 does not change after your suggested power reset and pressing (-) for a lower temperature, what is my next step?”

The electronic door control does not show the interior temperature. It ostensibly represents a range, but set at 33 ( the low for the refrigerator function) you might garner a 33 degree reading at the incoming vent, while the rest of the fridge will stay in range 35-47. To lower the range from the delivered 38 degrees, you must hold the (-) till it beeps. Let go, and then hit the minus again. This information and sequencing is not in the manual, or available from the Frigidaire customer service phone help.

I understand that is a difficult thing for most people these days, but give it a shot. You may be surprised at the information that it contains. I mean really, who spends over a grand on something then doesn't look at the instructions.
