“I live in Arizona and I will be putting this freezer in my garage. The garage does not go above 110 degrees, but does get very hot 3 months out of the year. Will the increased heat cause the freezer to use more energy in order to keep it cold?”

Hi Zils72! For the most efficient operation, the freezer should be located where the surrounding temperatures will not exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit. If the temperatures exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit, it can possibly cause the freezer to work harder to cool. Hope this helps! -CiCi
