• For about the same price as a replacement filter, Frigidaire makes a "blank" filter designed for such cases. For this refrigerator (which uses the PWF-1 filter) the part# is A15601102. The fact that it's the same price as a filter and (according to the site) still has to be replaced every two years is kinda scammy to me but YMMV.
