• yes. You can choose to have it on all the time or it can be turned off. If left off, it will turn on when dispensing water or ice.

• Hi, Deb. This unit has lighting displayed on the control panel to illuminate the selected features. The specifications do not show or include a light in the ice and water dispenser. ~ Christy
