I was told the freezer side should be lower than zero. Mine is set at minus 3. And the refrigerator is set at 40.i got the number for the settings from geek squad. I thought the same as you and I felt something was broke or wrong.i contacted the geek squad and they came out and rest the temperature and i have no problem. My refrigerator is cold and the water in the freezer portion is cold. Hope this helps. I called for the manufacturer help and they where no help. Told me something like i hadnto wait 2 weeks for a repair person. Thank goodness i had geek squad, they came the next day. And the refrigerator was not broke just the temperature set too low.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to buy extra tubing (might find it at store or try a pet store) and leave the rolled up tubing in the very back of your frig behind the drawers. Ours came with our frig all rolled in a bundle and taped together. I can't tell you how many feet you need but hopefully a store employee can help with that. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I said the same thing, but one month later still not chilled. I never expected that and like cold water preferably without ice. Let's just say I've been adding ice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The water line runs outside of the refridgerator, so the answer to your question would be no.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Welcome to our extended family Dan. As warmer tap water goes through the filter and enters the water supply system, the chilled water is pushed through to the dispenser. Once the chilled water is used up it will take several hours to bring the freshly replaced water to a cooler temperature. Add ice to your cup or container before dispensing water. We hope this information is of assistance. Feel free to reconnect with directly or via the Q&A forum on this website. –Kind Regards-
