“The switch on the ice maker can't be 'switched' left (off) or right (on). According to manual, you have to depress it for 3 seconds to turn on/off. After pressing, is there a light or other indicator to tell you if the ice maker is on/off?”

Hey Garfield29! The icemaker can be turned off by using the switch on the side of the icemaker. There could also be a wire arm on the side of the icemaker and that will need to be pushed up. We hope this information is helpful in your search for a new refrigerator. –Thanks!-
