The Frigidaire Gallery GCCI3067AB cooktop has the following wattages for each burner: Right Front Element Burner: 2,300 watts (normal) / 3,600 watts (boost) Left Front Element Burner: 1,800 watts (normal) / 2,600 watts (boost) Left Rear Element Burner: 1,800 watts (normal) / 2,600 watts (boost) Center Element Burner: 2,300 watts (normal) / 3,600 watts (boost) While all four elements can technically be used at once, each burner has a "boost" function that provides higher wattage for faster heating. However, using all elements at their maximum boost wattage simultaneously may not be feasible, as the cooktop's overall power draw could exceed the 30-amp circuit limit. It is designed to manage power distribution, so not all burners will run at their maximum wattage at the same time. -Reed

• A:Answer You should get an Induction StoveTop Protector before using cast iron because it is heavy and it scratches. But yes, cast iron is magnetic and will work. The burners are seven inches each and from each end measures 15.5 inches. So the griddle cooking area would be 15.5 x 7.

Q: QuestionWhen it says the burners are 8" and 7", respectively, is that from outer edge to outer edge of the circles we can see in the photos? Or do the circles indicate you can put a pan of greater than 8" diameter on the burner?

• A:Answer I installed mine tonight and was pleased to see that the 8 inch burners are actually 10 inch burners. So there are two 7 inch burners, with the griddle being 15.5 inches long end to end, and two large 10 inch burners.
