• Yes, it has the chord. It is hard wired. There is no plug. The burners are actually 7" and 10" (not 8")

• Related to the wiring, we required an electrician to wire our new induction cooktop from our electrical panel. We replaced a gas cooktop so related to replacing an electric cooktop we don't know the process. The electrician also installed a level 2 EV charger at the same time and our total cost for both jobs was just under $1200.

All electric cooktops run off a single-phase, three-wire or four-wire cable, 240/208 volts, 60 hertz, AC-only electrical supply with ground.
