- Answer Hi, Toby! This range does vent out of the oven, but does not include a downdraft. We would recommend pairing it with a range hood or over-the-range microwave for venting heat and steam out of the kitchen! ~Ashton

Questionwe used our oven for the first time... and the two rubber strips that the door rubs on both fell half off is this packing or some kind of seal? it doesnt really seal anything other than possibly restricting steam on each side oven when door is opened
