A:AnswerI've used my cast iron cookwear on this cook top and it works just fine, and never had an issue. The cast iron really holds a steady temperature and cooks great on this cook surface.
A:AnswerI think it depends on context:
If BestBuy says it, it probably means you are looking at a demonstration unit. It was removed "out of its shipping box," and its packaging tape stripped off, ready to use. It may or may not still have its original accessories, etc. Or, the unit may have been sold and them returned, or repossessed. You don't get the box.
If the manufacturer says it, it probably means YOU can open and take it out of its box, strip off some light packaging, and be Ready to Go. Fully Assembled. Plug and Play.
A:AnswerYes the stovetop can get very warm if you are using the oven for long periods of time. Cooking bacon on it would not be possible as so far ours has never gotten that hot from using the oven. We cooked a turkey in it for several hours and the top got warm but not too hot to touch at least until we started cooking on the stovetop as well and then it does get way too hot on the glass away from the burners.
A:AnswerHey KB! We can provide you with the interior dimensions of the range FGEF3035RF for you to verify the the size of your pans. The depth of the oven is 19-1/8 inches and the width is 24-3/8. We hope this information is helpful to your shopping experience. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerStainless steel or basically any metal pots or pan is fine as long as it's safe on glassware. That's what the stovetop is made of. Just be mindful and cautious not to scrap or slide things around, to pick them up and set them down and don' t leave them on the burners after use.
