A:AnswerI love my Frigidaire unit. But, DO NOT use Economy mode. Keep the unit set to cool so that the fan runs all the time when the unit is on. I had to replace another air conditioner because of black mold before I learned about the danger of using Economy mode. Economy mode is a feature that the US Government now requires on air conditioners. Economy mode stops the fan when the room reaches the desired temperature to save electricity. Stopping the fan causes condensation to form on the very cold coils which promotes the growth of mold. When the unit cycles back on, the moisture and mold is blown into the room and throughout your house. Economy mode may save you a few dollars on your electric bill but it is not worth the danger to your health.

A:AnswerHi SuzyK! Thank you for your inquiry. After a power outage, the unit will memorize the last setting and return the unit to the same setting once power is restored. We hope this helps! -Thanks!-
A:Answeryes you could if you cut a hole in your wall. i have run a window unit in my wall for years and it runs fine. just make sure the bottom of the cut is sealed so condensate does not run into you wall.
