Hi Lisa! Thank you for your inquiry. Due to the compressor being located in the back rear, the lower shelves are designed smaller and would not come out further than the rest of the shelves. We hope this information was helpful. -Ciara
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this unit and love it. The bottom drawers are not as deep as the rest due to the compressor, they do not need to slide out nor in my opinion and can hold thicker and heavier bottles. I use them for champagne and they work very well for me.
