- Answer Hi there! Thank you for reaching out. For your Frigidaire freezer, model #FPRU19F8WF, the door is reversible, so it can swing from right to left. To do this safely and correctly, the freezer should be unplugged, and the top and bottom hinges need to be removed and repositioned on the opposite side. Some models have pre-drilled holes and plugs to accommodate the door on the other side. For proper alignment and to ensure the door seals correctly, we recommend having a certified installer perform the door reversal. - Reed

QuestionHello, I see there is a kit for door reversal and what not. What I don’t understand per the manual is if I go to swap the handle, what happens to the holes left in the door from the pre installed shoulder bolt that is item A on sheet 13?

- Answer The reversal kit (item # ttdrrvfrkit2) actually includes a brand new door (basically the freezer door lol), along with hinges for the other side. There aren't "plugs" to fill the door as the other response indicated. Unfortunately the reversal kit runs over $500.

QuestionDid the model size change over the last ten years? We are replacing an older one and it appears the width is larger now. Either it's different or we are measuring differently. Our model size is 32" and the one on this website is larger.

- Answer Hi, Sandy! We are grateful that you contacted us, and we appreciate your query. The unit's height to top of door hinge is 72 ½ inches. As per the installation clearances, we need to allow an inch for top & back of the cabinet. Therefore, from 73 ½ inches (1" top clearance already included) it wouldn't fit into your kitchen cabinet. The unit is equipped with an anti-tip foot (which you can lower down); however, its purpose is to level the cabinet properly and NOT for height adjustment.
