From the User Manual: This thermoelectric unit is designed to be a portable storage container for cold drinks and cold food in "COLD" mode. The unit cools 20-28 F below rooms ambient temperature depending upon environment. Note the digital temperature listed on the thermometer does not reflect the actual temperature of the unit inside. Please set your target temperature on the display to reflect your desired inside temperature but keep in mind the temperature shown will not necessarily reflect the temperature on the inside of the unit. Press button for 5 seconds to adjust ON and OFF. Unit is set up at Fahrenheit. Press button for 5 seconds to change it as Celsius degrees
