“Is this model or any other in the same price range Twain Compatible?”

Hi Kristin, all ScanSnap scanners were designed to be as easy to use as possible. To accomplish this Fujitsu developed their own proprietary driver that is not Twain compliant. To add value Fujitsu added a suite of software features to scan and manage all sorts of documents like receipts, business cards, photos and regular document. If you need a Twain driver then I suggest you consider the Fujitsu SP-1120 or the SP-1130. The SP-1120 and the SP-1130 are priced similarly to the iX1500. Regards, Eric
