  • QuestionDo outdoor tvs handle heat well compared to a normal tv? Also, if it is not a smart tv, I can plug in a USB, like a firestick from Amazon and get all my apps correct?

    Asked by Kramer.

    • Answer I can't answer the first question regarding heat. However, this is NOT a smart TV. I hooked up a Roku stick to my TV and it works fine. I get Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc. on my TV using this device. I imagine a Firestick, AppleTV, etc. will also work without issue. You just need to keep in mind that the HDMI ports are behind a metal door. I could get my Roku stick to fit without problem, but I couldn't get a WiFi signal once I closed the protective metal door. I purchased a short HDMI cable extender so that I could keep the Roku stick outside the enclosure. There is a USB port on the back of the TV which supplied enough power for my Roku stick. The streaming devices are not made for outdoors, so just be cautious with them. I have my Roku stick tucked under the roof of my pavilion to protect it from the weather.

  • QuestionDoes this tv come with a stand? If not, is there a stand it is compatible with?

    Asked by CHSCPA.

    • Answer This television does NOT come with a stand. In regards to compatibility, you will need to look for any standard VESA mount that supports a TV of this size (and weight). This is one heavy TV, so make sure you purchase a stand or mount capable of supporting a 50 pound television.
