A:Answer As reliable as HDDs have been, they're no-longer leading edge. The SSD is faster, uses less power, and when it fails it's usually due to writing, not reading, so if the SSD stops writing, you'll typically be able to recover the data. As far as which lasts longer, I have some Western Digital HDDs that are still working that are older than SSD technology altogether. If you do your research, you'll be hard-pressed to beat SSD with HDD in anything but price.
