• It is a USB type C input. Comes with a USB type A adapter to dumb it down if need be.

• Yes it should =. I have a MacBook Air, which has a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C compatible) port, and it worked flawlessly. The USB-C cable was included along with a sweet little USB-C to USB 2/3 adapter.

• HONEST ANSWER I DONT KNOW --BUT I DONT SEE WHY NOT- I SHOULD ETHER WAY ITS A GREAT BACK UP DRIVE- IF YOUR LAP TOP SUPPORTS THE CABEL PLUG IN THEN IT SHOULD . HOPE THAT HELPS
