Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Preorders are a little difficult but from experience and knowing nintendo, it will probably be available again throughout the holiday. I don’t think it will be effected by the chip shortage since it doesn’t have to many parts. Just keep an eye out at any stores. I know the Mario one last year had a ton of them in late December and early January

With Nintendo's track record it usually shows especially with the Super Mario Bros game and watch that they had quite a lot for stores. I wouldn't be concerned about purchasing one on release date. Even if a small shortage exist they will definitely be more produced.
