“After a cold night, the camera begins the start-up procedure, flashes through the Garmin logo and warnings, then the screen comes on briefly with a white screen (no picture), at which time the unit auto restarts. Is this simply a temperature problem?”

Mine went black screen and never was right afterwards. I tookk mine out of the car daily once the temperature got in the 30's.

Mine did that shortly after purchase but was infrequent so I didn't think to much about it, my mistake. After the warranty was gone now it cycles thru start up procedure and turns itself of and back on again over and over it is non functional. Now they won't help me because its over the time even though it was doing it from new. So hurry and get it replaced.
