• Setup allows choice of 2,3 or 4 minutes file sizes.

• The video saves in three minute recordings. 1 1/2 minutes before you push the button and an additional 1 1/2 minutes after. The unit records in a continuous overwriting loop but does not tamper with saves unless space is an issue and then it overwrites the oldest file first. I have not been able to view unsaved files.

• Yes, but the Garmin play back software plays in larger segments, especially, saved videos created by an incident triggering the auto save feature or a manually saved event.

• The Garmin Dash Cam 35 will record each video file into 3 minutes segment. {CW}
