• I have this dash cam. The camera acts as the wireless hotspot and you have to set it to wireless sharing to retrieve videos off the device.

• You would need to be within wifi range of the camera.

• Correction to my previous response. The Garmin 45 and 55 both have limited WiFi capabilities, as a linked device for the Garm VIRB smartphone app. But, it is only for use locally when the "Share Gallery" function on the dash cam has been manually activated.
