Why is it that the extra magnetic mount included in the packaging of garmin dash cam 45 has double adhesive? Isn’t it that only one side should be with adhesive and the opposite side should only be magnetic? null

Some people prefer to make it so that it’s not removable. Hence the double sided. I wondered the same thing. I like to take it out of sight.depending in where I am Parking garages etc.

One side of the adhesive disc sticks to the windshield and the other side sticks to the metal disc.  After installation the metal disc remains attached to the windshield.
