• yes, it is still recording, video and sound. go to gallery and follow prompts to download to the app on the iphone

• The Display Timeout setting on the Dash Cam determines how long the screen will remain active before going blank. After the display times out, the Dash Cam is still recording normally, indicated by the LED light. All captured videos and photos can be viewed in the device's Gallery menu. -MH
