As long as the cig plug has power and is plugged in the camera will stay on. From what I have read if you use the parking mode cable it will save all the videos while it is in use. Just leaving it plugged in will record just like it does when you are driving down the road. Hope that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't buy the extra cable. The cam draws so little power that it would be fine to leave it on for extended periods of time. Even with the power off though, the cam will turn-on in the case of car motion from a collision.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can leave it plugged in but it will continue to record. Some people want this feature, recording the surroundings when the car is unoccupied. The simplest fix w/o buying the extra cable is to unplug from the outlet or shut off the camera manually.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The device will record non-stop when powered on. When the microSD card is full, the non-protected videos will be overwritten. However, saved videos will not be overwritten. The maximum amount of footage that can be recorded or saved on a microSD card depends on your device's video resolution setting and the size of the card.
