“I currently have the Garmin DashCam 30. Does the 46 use the same wire as the 30? Mine is currently wired up to my car and I'm wondering if I upgrade to this 46 version, if I have to take the car back to the shop to get the wire replaced. Thank you!”

• No, the Dash Cam 46 power cable connects with a Micro-USB connection. The Dash Cam 30 uses a mini USB connection.

• Hi, I think you can use the same. My car is also hard wired and I had Dashcam 45. I just replaced the new camera on the magnet mount. You may need the check if the usb cable will fit the 46. Hope this helps.
