Do you need to adjust date and time if the camera is not plugged in every time ? null

I don’t believe you have to. If you turn your car off and the dash cam turns off it will turn on when you start the car and it will know the date and time.

My answer is No as longer you have the app of Garmin connected you can unplugged the device any time. I hope this answer help you and good luck.
