“In Texas, the interior of the cars can burn up equipment. Will this cam be able to stay in a locked car when the temps rise in Texas? I have read other reviews stating that the heat has affected many of the dash cams. Thank you for the reply.”

Mine has gotten pretty hot also, being in Alabama, however, when not using it, I just stash it in the center console storage. Seems to be fine so far.
