- Answer No dashboard mount is included in Texas. I am certain one is available. Since windshield mounts are not legal in Alabama, dashboard mounts may be standard at Best Buy stores in Alabama.

QuestionI got the Garmin Drive 51 as a gift recently, previous to that I used my phone to get around in this new city, now I started using the Gamin and it is taking me on different routes that are not that direct to my house.

The Garmin dēzl™ series includes detailed maps for North America that also include truck-related restrictions – like bridge heights, sharp curves, weight limits and more – and related information for most major roads and highways.

- Answer yes, I'm in North America and use it everyday. Just have to update the maps on the device and it will work fine. Plug device into desktop that has the Garmin Express software which is free to download.
