QuestionDoes the dash mount, Mount from top or bottom so as not to interfere with the camera Lens?

- Answer The mount is reversible. If you are using the included windshield suction cup, you should install the mount with the socket toward the top of the device. If you are using an optional dash mount accessory, you should install the mount with the socket toward the bottom of the device. This ensures the dash cam is not obstructed by the mount.

QuestionI WOULD BE INSTALLING THIS IN A 2016 COACHMAN MOTORHOME THATS NEARLY 12 FT TALL. WILL THIS DEVICE ROUTE ME ON ROUTES THAT ARE SAFE AND NOT DRIVING UNDER A BRIDGE THATS LOWER THAN 12 FT ??

- Answer Honestly, for a rig like that, you should get the trucker’s gps. That will put you on the routes that you will clear.

- Answer You need to down load the garmin express program on to your computer and then connect your gps. Don’t forget to register it with Garmin.

QuestionIs this the newest model ?? I see over a year old questions /reviews , the screen resolution is really bad on this one ,Im kinda waiting for an upgrade also it does not have a magnetic windshield attachment which makes it easier to remove.

- Answer The Garmin Drive Assist 51LMT-S is a new model. As far as the resolution, I think some people are too picky. I’ve watch a couple of my traffic videos on my gps and they looked just fine. Keep in mind that these are not designed to watch 4K videos.

- Answer I have the same question and contacted the manufacturer of RAM mounts which is what I use on my motorcycle. They said they do not have a cradle for this GPS and no plans but would record the request. The more people ask, the more likely we will see a solution. I may go ahead and purchase one of these GPS's and hope I can find something that will work.

- Answer Some maps of Mexico are already installed on the GPS but not all detailed street maps of local Mexican cities. You can purchase specific country maps from Garmin.com when you register the GPS.

QuestionIs this GPS good for a Truck Driver?

- Answer The amount of acreage for a big truck windshield may make this device seem a little small at only 5 inches. I use it in a sports car and am more concerned about it's footprint blocking view of oncoming terrain. But, it fits nicely just under the rearview where it is unobtrusive and doesn't obscure too much. I would get something a little bigger if I had more space. Note - my eyesight is not great. That's why I want a bigger screen.

- Answer This GPS has maps for Canada, USA, Puerto Rico and some Mexico. I would not buy any other brand of GPS than Garmin. The others are junk

- Answer The DriverAssist can use up to a 64G memory card. It has two slots, one for the dash cam and a second one for maps and data. A 4G memory is provided with the system for the dash cam.
