• For HD Traffic, you'd need to get the DriveSmart 50LMTHD. This product uses the standard Garmin Traffic (non-HD traffic). The red light and speed camera alerts will notify you of any known upcoming safety cameras as you drive. If you're approaching an intersection that has a red light camera, for example, it will notify you accordingly. -JPK

• It keep you from getting a tickets if you drive though a yellow light in some states that have traffic cameras , The camera will get your license plate number and mail you your ticket. The GPS will let you know if theirs a traffic camera.
