Reasons why: 1) This GPS works with Alexa so you can simply ask it for directions and it finds your destination for you. 2) Driving down the road to a destination out of town, it will tell you a number of the upcoming cities/towns, the distance to them, approximate time you will pass them, as well as any rest stops along the way. It updates this information constantly as you are driving down the road making it real nice to know what is coming up. Much better than simply telling you about your destination only. 3) It is very accurate to distance and arrival time. 4) Live traffic data - you know when/where to avoid. 5) Blue tooth to your phone and messages come up right on the display as well as your phone calls. 6) Good instruction and display to exit ramps. 7) Accurate speed limit displayed as well as your speed. Much better GPS than my 15 year old GPS. Love this thing and use it when on the road always. Many times don't need it for directions, but its real nice to know distances to the next town/city and rest area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When it comes time to update your maps, it costs almost as much as new unit. Our '15 Ford Escape has built in GPS and it costs approximately $186.00 for an update because you have to replace the SD card to get the latest maps and no traffic info. So I just take my Garmin which is always up to date just in case when traveling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I drive for living an do not like to take eyes off road . I can look slightly down to see GPS instead of looking down at screen on dash . Plus it’s more accurate .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ability to use "Alexa" is a nice feature and while driving, my wife prefers looking up towards the windshield, versus down at her dashboard .
