• Buy a bluetooth transmitter on Amazon.....plug into your AUX Jack and you'll be fine. • The garmin plays music thru the device its self.you need to have ur phones Bluetooth linked up the Garmin for alexa to work.. i use an aux cord to play music thru radio

• I have a 2006 charger also, but haven't try'ed it with the girman for it's put up for the winter. The girman works with a audo cable thru the raido and your cell phone to play music.
