• The HRM chest unit must be paired with the 1030+, it does so via bluetooth.

• Monitor is incorporated in the head unit. Bundle comes with heart rate wireless strap.

• It is not a stand-alone as it needs to be paired with some device to get your readings. But it does work with any Bluetooth device capable of displaying heart rate.
