“Does this gps have a bright light. My garmin etrx summit is worthless unless im in good light conditions. Also when compass is displayed does it have a big pointer on compass to get you to a waypoint? thanks”

Hello, The eTrex 10 does have a backlight timeout feature, so you can adjust the length of time before the light goes out. You can also adjust the backlight level as well, if you tap the power button.Yes, when navigating to point the compass will display a big pointer. Thanks Chris
