• Is FRP stronger than steel Pound for pound, FRP structural members are stronger than many steels in the lengthwise direction, and weigh up to 75% less. The strength of steel at 1/4 the weight. • I haven’t had any problems with it at all but like any purchase for that amount of money I also purchased a warranty. It gives me a piece of mind.
