• A:Answer Im not sure why this wouldn't work anywhere in the this world of ours. Its all based on satellite-based routes that encompass the earth . Of course some areas are better covered and covered more often than some ! Granted this is my assumption ive had no problem with gps functions above 60th parallel so i would assume the same south. Contact garmin for more detailed satellite-based routes that they would track your destinations by.
