Can I charge/power my GPS thru one of the USB ports (leaving one available to charge/power other devices), or must I use the dedicated lighter plug to GPS cord?”

• Yes you can charge with your USB port, but you should take into consideration if your GPS has traffic control, because this option worked with the supplied cable
