No. The dashboard and this device both will be something on the receiving end rather than transmitting so it won't work. The bluetooth on the Garmin Nuvi is meant for connecting a cell phone's audio for vehicles those who do not have Bluetooth feature, if you have your car with bluetooth then this bluetooth feature of Garmin will probably not something of much use.
